Aquacycl's Series of Authentic Shorts

Aquacycl is a longtime client of ours, and it has been a pleasure to watch their company grow. They just turned 5 years old, and to celebrate they hired us to produce a series of short videos that showcased the values of their individual employees. They wanted to keep it light and authentic while also highlighting the people who make them who they are.

We asked the Aquacycl team a series of questions - each person was asked the same thing - and then edited the answers together. The shoot took one day, but the result was 7 short, engaging media assets that ran over the course of their 5th year.

Something like this is a great way to cover a lot of ground in one sitting. If planned correctly, the shoot can be minimally disruptive but provide content for multiple short videos that can keep viewers engaged over many weeks or months.

It is also an effective and fun way to introduce your employees so the audience can really get to know who is behind your company. Consumers care deeply about workplace ethics and recognize that there are human beings behind every product they buy. They are also looking to support companies whose values are front and center. Research into the values behind a brand can be difficult and time consuming, and audiences are very attuned to puff language and greenwashing.

Letting your employees express their dedication to your mission and how their individual values align with that of the company is a potent way to reach like-minded consumers and investors. Honesty, humility and passion are the key elements here. Aquacycl’s employees did an amazing job expressing their beliefs and their dedication to the work the company is doing. This is authentic marketing at its best.
